Is Love a form of Passion?

According to me Love is not a form of Passion. Passion is a part of love. You can love someone passionately, Love is a commitement. Passions change / fade away with time, but love (A TRUE LOVE) remains forever. Passion is longing for some thing, where love is belonging to someone. Love begins with passion, so passion is just a part of love, and not a love itself. What do you say ?
