why isnt beckham not given a new contract at madrid?

guys this is a really sensitive matter ...is becks really losing his touch??he was great at the world cup and he is also a great midfielder????was it that madrid didnt want too many stars or they are not confident of his worth now that he was dropped from england???

i think his service was not much needed there.. i think he is not treated upto the mark in real madrid.. i would hav been happier if he had joined manu
