She is world famed singer in Indian Cinema who has blessings of Sarswati. Since independence not a single female singer can compete with her. Her generosity, honest, modesty gives her full strengthen to be considered successful singer. she is considered knightangle of the indian cinema. The patriotic song "A Mere Watan Ke Logo" was too sensitive that even in this period one listen the tears comes out. she has sung so many sweet songs in DDLJ, DTPH, Lamhe, Utsav that would be remembered for a long time. in brief, her voice is immortal.

Lata Mangeskar is a legendary singer. She is one of the best singers the world has ever produced,including both the male & female singers. It is a good sign that still now she is continuing singing of both filmy & non-filmy songs, though she is a little bit choosy now. She always refrained herself from singing of cabarret songs. May God gift her a long & healthy life.
