first of all, are you in the u.s.? or are you going to attend a u.s. school? if you answered no to either of these questions, where are you and where are you planning to attend/attending school that you need a scholarship to?

www.fastweb.com is a great place to find available scholarships. The initial process is extensive but it is worth it as they will email you scholarship that only apply to you, your school and your desired degree.

If you're enrolled in any school, go to the financial aid office and ask about scholarships. Some have scholarships that are given out nationwide, and others have scholarships given out locally. Also, go on the internet, type 'scholarships' and the state you live in; you should get several hits. If you have a major, look up organizations related to your major; they offer scholarships, also.

One more thing to add, apply for as many scholarhsips as you can qualify for. Since only a few people are chosen for each scholarship, the more you apply for the better your odd of getting one will be. Also, focus on your GPA many of the scholarships offered rely on your GPA and keeping it at a certian point level. When looking for a scholarship, use any tool available or any aspect of your life - for example if you were a Boy Scout, they offer scholarships, or ask your parents if the company they work for offers a scholarship.
