Why do you think the divorce rate is rising so fast in Western societies?

The institution of marriage isn't what it used to be just say few decades ago. Divorce rates are dramatically higher. Many more children are being raised in single parent homes and lots of couples are choosing simply to live together without bothering to get married at all. Why have patterns of family life and marriage changed so much in few decades?

well the main reasons are probably the religionlessnes, because there is not much left to marriage between them after living and having kids together for years and they consider marriage as an obligation or something, their law system is also responsioble for this where women can easily get half of the property so....infact if u look at it divorce can be very benificial to some women.......ofcourse what i said above doesnt apply to every western couple, so plz dont take it personal every1
