Humanism --should be the sole religion!

I feel all the problems we are facing today have in some way related to Religion--its something thats the root cause of everything. Does god want us to fight and create bitterness due to Religion?? Is it not a waste of time and resources to keep up with so many religious practices?? Is all this hype around religion really worth it?? At the end of it every religion in one way or the other tells us to be a good human being-to do good always...then isnt Humanism the ultimate Religion??
