Will Google's online payment system (Google Checkout) kill PayPal?

My guess is no, but could it possibly be a serious competitor? Personally I think Paypal has accumulated simply too many users, and also its lucrative business through Ebay, for Google Checkout to be a serious threat. Any thoughts?

PayPal has been around a long time and people know how to use it, and trust it. I don't think a new company would shut down something that has already established itsself so well among computer users. I know I woudln't switch.

I don't think it could beat paypal as of now but if it will continue to become popular, it may. I just checked out the site I think it's ok.
