Mine is EVERNOTE - its fantastic for keeping all those bits and pieces of information you download from the internet or any other information that you like to keep handy and add to or whatever. Its like a never ending roll of paper and you can quickly search for anything on it you might need. You can even include graphics and write your notes instead of typing them - I couldn't live without it:) BTW I am not affiliated with them in any way just a satisfied customer

Some of the programs I use most are freeware titles. I always use WinDV for copying digital video from my camcorder, and VirtualDub is an excellent free utility for editing and filtering the video too. I suggest people look at www.giveawayoftheday.com as this has a free program and a free game everyday, that would otherwise have to be paid for as shareware. I have had a great couple of games from there recently, such as Cube Drift. Nick

thanks for this - I just looked it up and it does sound great The "Total PC Optimization, Repair, and Maintenance" bothers me though - I am fairly computer savvy, but not when it comes to system stuff, so if this program is going to keep asking me if I want to delete or change so and so I won't know what to do - so what I am asking is "Is it system-idiot proof?"

this discussion has made me realise how little I know about computers, I haven't heard of any of these software. I think I really should educate myself a little better to get more out of my computer.

I love to do digital scrapbook of my daugther's pictures so I really love Adobe Photoshop. It's really a powerful graphics software beacuse you can really do a lot with it. It's so easy to use and very user friendly. You can do a lot of effects with the pictures so it really makes my lay out more craetive looking.

I love audacity as it lets me rip audio from streaming videos and things online that I wouldn't otherwise listen too all that regularly. Azureus is another favourite of mine. I tried a few other torrent programs before this but found this has all the functionability I need, like selecting only some files of a torrent and things. Last but definetly not least Photoshop. I love messing around with graphics and things and like the features and functions of this one more than Paintshop Pro.
