how many species of the bird are there?

Can anyone tell me that how many species are there in a bird?

wow, this was a difficult answer to find! but a general consensus seems to be approxiamatly 10,000 species, divided into 23 orders and 142 families.

Hey,well as far as I know parrots is an order of birds that includes 353 species. They are usually groups in two families namely cockatoo and true parrots.
