after a day in school i think the students need to rest, secondly teachers often give assignment to students lessons then dont teach well, resulting that parents and students are the ones having a hard time at home, isnt it that its the resposibility of the teachers to teach?

Yes it is right to give projects and assignments to the students because these things polish their skills, widen their progressive thought and sharpen their minds. It is useful for their active participation in and outside the class and these things also help them in making their syllabus more easy-to-grab for them. But at the same, when these things are essential for the students, the teachers should also make it their priority that they explain everything to the students clearly so that they can easily complete their assignments and their projects.

well, have you noticed that teachers often give assignments to students we all know that only parents can do? example... they ask for some research of some complicated things to a 2nd grader kid,and also they want everything computerizes and neatly printed, how the hell can a young 2nd grader student do that?

Yes, its right to give students the assignments related to there subjects. It make the thinking of student more sharper and improves his/her ocean of knowledge. But teachers must give them a proper guideline to start there assignments in proper way. Teachers must appreciate there work to improve there work.
