Temper Control when Under Stress?? How hard?!

how many of us find it difficult to control our temper? Even for little things we can't help but shout, get mad, be angry, especially when we are under stress.. ive been stressed lately,up to now i guess due to my examinations.. and refusing to be angry at little things is like a battle. i dont know why? maybe this has something to do with the hormones released when a person is under stress or is having problems. experiencing the same temper control problem? anyone?

These include asanas like pavanmuktasana, sarvagasana, halasana, ardhamatsyendrasana, bhujangasana ,dhanurasana , yogamudra ,padmasana, trikonasana, kriyas like kunjal and jalneti andpranayamas such as kapal bhati, anuloma- viloam, sitali , sitkari and bhramari.Recreation and rest are equally important and patient should set a definite time for recreational activities. They should also take a holiday at regular intervals. And above all, they should simplify their lifestyles to eliminate unnecessary stress.

As a kid i was very short tempered...but as i grew up i felt i m loosing lots of things due to my temper.. gradually i started to control my self...i hav succeeded to some extent.Still i get temper some times but now i cool down much easily... I should say controlling temper i very difficult but not impossible.

controllong our tempers is really hard but we can control and at times we can't.but its very possible to stay away from being angry at little things.

yes its pretty dificult to control temper.harmones does a major role in anger management.well at the same time we can control our temper by following some simple techniques ..you better consult a psychiartist.

I do control my temper, but during my younger years I used to shout, which I realized really did not get me anywhere, and get mad and angry yes I do at times, but I have to ask my lord to give me patience to deal with these.

I have experienced these temper control problems lately. I feel it is stress related as well. I seem to snap sometimes at the stupidest things and then the problem is resolved a few minutes later. I hate when that happens. Basically when i feel that im overstressed i try to do something that will prevent me from snapping. It seems to have helped. Best of luck to you!

am trying my best to relax so that i wont get mad at little things easily.. sometimes it works, sometimes i just cant stop but get angry.thanks for the response.

I have temper issues especiallyw hen i am stressed. Im easily irritated and angered when Im pressured about so many things. Even small things become a big deal. I snap at family members easily when i can't control it. Often times though, I also just go up into my room, keep quiet and relax a bit before i start talking or commenting about stuff that irritates me. It always gets me in trouble when i say things when im in a foul mood already. Im not sure what helps but smetimes for me, relaxing by being alone with a book or just writing those stuff down helps me sometimes to relieve those pressures and stress and anger.

Thankfully, I'm not that kind of person. I can control myself no matter how anger I get. You just got to force yourself to relax and don't let things get to you.

i've been experiencing stress when i have to do assignments, projects, exams.... but im trying my very best not to throw my tantrums to others coz i dont want them to be angry with me.

that's good. we should try to control our feelings so that others will not get mad at us too.
