Have you had the feeling that your credit card is being overcharged by the authorities that issued it? the interest rate is too high? In my case i had to experience something i thought was impossible! My credit limit was 35,000/- rupees and i had exhausted it on shopping and paying for bills. When i got the bill i was amazed to see that it showed i had gone 20,000/- over limit! there were ATM Cash withdrawals from various banks all over the city! areas i havent even heard of! And now the issuing authorities want me to make an exorbitant payment of more than 62,000/- (includes various charges such as credit protector etc). I have taken the matter up with them but they are very uncooperative and demanded that either i pay up or else! i think i have no option but to pay up and get the card cancelled! Have you had anything similar happened to you? do share it!

credit card fraud happend with me too. i am in US now and it happend twice with me - once with my credit card and next time with my debit card. for my credit card one of the big shop over charged my card and on the same day someone bought pizza using my card number! For me i noticed that charge immediately in my statement and then i reported that to bank and police. they took immediate action and they identified the fraud also and he is in jail now. here bank and police are very prompt about this. I am not very sure how it is in Indian now. One suggestion from me is to check your credit card transactions everyday in online, so you will be able to detect any unwanted transaction happend in yur card and report that immediately to bank and police.

Yes unfortunately i was. I lost my credit card and during 40 minutes my card had 877 dollars deduction. The people or person who stealed the card bought stuff at Sears.
