So far I have been as good as I have hoped I would be. It has been pretty easy to reduce the bread consumption and reduce greatly the imbibing of cola beverages. I have added salads and sunflower seeds and it seems to be doing what I want and that is to reduce the poundage I gathered during the holidays! Wish me luck for continued success!!

i seldom make impossible resolutions as i know that i am not good at keeping them. i had resolved in 1996 not to litter in public places. i still dont and have inspired a lot of my friends as well! i have stuck to it for 11 yrs now. i dont make resolutions but am constantly improving myself...

So far I've kept a couple:
I've lost 2 out of the ten pounds I want to lose
I've read 8 out of 50 books for the year
and I've stopped being a wuss and got my wisdom teeth out.

Actually, I don't do the New Year Resolution thing. I have friends that do it. But, I feel if there is a goal I'm trying to acheive why wait until the beginning of the year. Just the way I think.
I actually wanted to start working out back in October, I started and now I'm at a size I want to be already. I didn't wait for New Year. Now I'm just maintaining..
Good topic...

I never stick to new years resolutions except one that I made a couple of years ago.....not to make any more!
Every day I set a task or goal for myself, sometimes its a little thing like do the ironing, other times it can be a bigger task!
It seems silly setting a task that you don't know that you're ever gonna stick to and then beat yourself up for the rest of year over it.

I didnt make any resolutions so I can say that I have abided by everyone I made..I found that just resolving to do the best I can ..is the best resolution:)+

i dont believe much in new year resolutions. its just a matter of time that things keep changing... but new year is just an occasion to review our past experiences and check them all to make an analysis. i feel that new year is just a reminder.

My new years resolutions this year were a little different. I made a promise to keep in more contact with my relatives and to spend alot more 'fun' time with my family. Its ben great as we take the dogs for walks everynight now and have been going bush walking and swimming together :). Hopefully this all keeps up, I know we're all enjoying it.
