It's icy in DFW and I have a crippling fear of driving in it..help me?

I found myself gripped by fear this morning as I got ready for work and finally, called in and said I couldn't make it, my sons' school and daycare both were closed so I couldn't have gone anyways. I am incredibly fearful of car accidents and other drivers, do you have any suggestions for me to help me conquer this fear?
