Taking pictures isn't wrong. I have several albums full, videos, and scrapbook things to put together. Pictures tell a lot about the changes they go through. I wouldn't change my memories through my pictures for nothing on this earth.

There's nothing wrong in taking pictures. Babies will never be that way forever so it's nice to keep pictures so we have something to look back to. I have a 1 year old daugther and our CD rack is almost filled with CDs & DVDs containg her pictures.

My daughter and her dog - playing in the potty
Taking pictures of my little girl is one thing I do EVERY DAY! So, I hope its not wrong, or we are both doing something horrible!

I take so many pictures of my kids it is not even funny. I must have at least 10photo boxes. Each holds like over 1000 pictures or something like that.

taking pictures is not wrong. it's your way of keeping memories. besides babies grow fast and before you know it, you can't remember how they look like when they were newborns.

Definitely not. I have a 3 month old son and we take weekly pictures of him to watch his growth as well as other pictures all the time just cuz he's adorable. I look back through the photo albums of me as a baby and wish there were more...especially since my girl is into scrapping and there's no good pictures of me to compare to my son.

No, it is not wrong. Kids change so quickly that it is hard to remember how they looked when they were younger. Pics are good to make a scrapbook of family/kids memories.

Absolutely not ! I adore taking pictures . It is amazing to see how much babies change in such a short period of time . I have older children and yonger children and with my older children I didn't have a camera and so do not have near as many pictures of them as I do of my younger children and will always regret not having the pictures of them that I have of my other children . The kids love going back and seeing what they looked like at a certain age or a special event . I now have a digital camera and take pictures almost everyday and sometimes I take over 100 pictures in a day . I love it !! Get as many pictures of your grandbabies as you can because you know how fast children grow up and this is a way to keep the memories alive for everyone .

My father in law asks why we take so many pictures, too. He said he didn't tkae many pictures of his own kids because, 'He didn't think they were that interesting.' But now, he wished he had more pictures of the things they did, places they saw, houses they had when his kids were young. There are no such thing as photo rays. A camera takes a picture by allowing light to come into the camera and imprint the picture on the camera, it does not shoot rays out. There is no danger to children from photos - although too much flash on an infant an dammage their eyes. I think some people just don't realize how fast memories fade, and how comforting it can be to look trhoguh old pictures and remember things. Those people don't see the point in taking a lot of pictures.
