I'm not talking about wiggling and jiggling your butt around the dance floor..I mean really dance??? What has happened to the romanitc WALTZ? The OLD TIME WALTZ where your gown would flow and sweep Is the very seductive TANGO a thing of the past? Where have the twist turns lifts and slides of the JIVE gone to? At least we still have SALSA

that is so awesome. I bet knowing how to dance is a real chick magnet. I don't like guys that just sit all night when the music is good

Actually I am another who knows how to dance, the old fashioned sort of waltzes I mean AskAlly, however I do have to add that I am not that good for a couple of good reasons. One is that I have two left feet, although it doesn't look like it till I get on the dance floor and the other very valid reason is that I am tone deaf. Now anyone who has heard me singing can confirm that last statement. :) It was only back in August when we did some old style dancing, mainly the Waltz and 2-Step when we went to an official function for the Royal Australian Navy. Yes I did wear the long evening dress as well, so I was almost the full thing, except of course no gloves or fan. :) One of the things I did like about Dancing With The Stars was that they did all of those dances and so well too in most cases. I do realise that they had professional help and spent hours practicing their steps, but it was lovely to watch all the same. At least that was the show here in Australia, but not sure about elsewhere in the world of course.

My husband knows how to dance. He has tried to sweep me off my feet and glide me across the floor. I end up looking like Raggedy Ann in his arms! My mother affectionately called me "Grace" and not because I was graceful with my movements. I could trip over a hair in the carpet! I really am envious that my husband can dance so well. He took lessons in his youth.

In my first year college here in the Philippines, we have a Physical Education subject. One of the requirements is you have to know how to dance swing, tango, and chacha. This was our semi-finals examination. You have to know it or else you wont pass the subject. I don't know how to dance but because I have to know how to dance for me to pass, I was forced to dance it. I say I am not good in it but at least I could dance. I thank my teacher for his patience on me though.
