GOT MY FEELINGS HURT REAL BAD !!!

ok....i have been in love with this man for years he is married and we still continue to hang out have fun and enjoy each others company...i know he loves me as well cause he tells me and his in a unhappy marriage. But recently i have been telling him some strong things like i want to be in his life forever and i want to be the one to take care of you and even though he has never upset me or hurt me he told me last night that....IT SHOULD NOT BE THIS WAY....HE IS NOT MINE AND I AM NOT HIS.....I was soooo crushed i could hardly speak , i beleive it has destroyed what we have and that has me in sooo much pain today. please tell me what you think

I am sorry that you had your feelings hurt. However, he is right. Even though he is in an unhappy marriage, he is not yours to take care of - his wife should be taking care of him. I suggest that if you do have strong feelings for him that you should take a break from your friendship and decide if it is better to have the strong feelings or keep you long time friend.

Thank you so much for your advise, i really appreciate what you said. and you are sooo right. i am giving our relationship some breathing room and then we will talk and i hope all can be solved, but in my heart i will Love him forever.

I am sorry to hear that your feelings have been hurt. It is never a good feeling to have your heart broken. However, I have to say you certainly fell in love with a rare man. I am very proud of him and you should be too. The relationship you had with him was wrong. He chose to take vows and marry his wife and he made a promise for life. Think about it, if he had left her for you, would you not always wonder if he is cheating on you and would one day leave you?
