I was looking through some research material and saw an article on how lesbian couples may at some point be able to get IVF treatment through the NHS. I have no problem with gay people but if am honest am in two minds about the issue of children. Nature made conception a certain way...is it right to meddle with the natural order of things? On the other hand we have all seen the consequence of unwanted pregnancies and the poor lives these children can sometimes lead. What do other people think on this? xxx

Nothing is impossible these days, if that is legal in the country then everyone has the right. However, since the lives of the children are on the line here, there are certain issues that we really cannot set aside, like will they be good parents, how about the situation of the children in their school and the acceptance of the society.

It's complex. I feel that nature was planed a certain way, and we should not interfere, regardless or gay or straight. As far as unwanted pregnacies, they should get more educated about birth control. If a baby is unwanted, it should be placed for adoption. But, many people use abortion as a birth control, and that is wrong too.

I think it's wrong to deny children to a loving couple that WILL provide for children and care for them and give them what they need. Some straight parents have lots and lots of children, but fail to adaqueatly provide for their children. I don't see how we can deny the right to reproduce to ANY loving couple that will LOVE their children all the same.
