I am trying to change some of my eating habits. I'm 54 and at an age where I'm starting to have to watch everything about my health. I love a bowl of cold cereal for breakfast and there are some days I also eat a bowl at night. My problem is I don't know which is the best for me. I don't eat any of those sugar coated things for kids, but someone told me anything with corn flakes is bad because corn turns to sugar. Help!

well, corn is a carb, so if you eat too much of it you will have a problem. but i dont see a problem with having a bowl of cereal for breakfast cause it gives you energy and you can probably work it off throughout the day. i like having corn flakes with sliced fruit in it. you could also try muesli or something like that which might be healthier. i wouldnt suggest eating anything late at night and especially not carbs.
