Today, I tried to renew the tags for my husbands cars. They said no way, his licensed is suspended because he has unpaid tickets.
I called up about the ticket in question and told yes the ticket was paid but he FAILED to pay the $18.00 late fee.
Is this bull or what? Your license can be suspended because of late fees on a ticket that you paid.
The moral of this story is don't pay your tickets thru the mail, it must take them months to process!

Something similar happend to my husband. He paid the ticket in person, had the receipt showing he paid the ticket and had a flag on his license for the ticket being unpaid. It took him 2 weeks to get it resolved. Doesn't matter how you pay for the ticket, you still have to follow up.
