India has lots of younger batsmen and allrounders and no body wants an arrogant person who cannot get along with other team mates and consider team mates as his assistants. Hence I do not see any chance for Ganguly in the Indian Team.

I beg to differ with you on the word "arrogant". This word got attached with him since the Austalia tour when he made debut in International Cricket. If he would have been "arrogant" then he would not have been the most successful captain India has ever produced! I feel he has an attitude which is not common among us Indians. It's something like "I am no less than you". Most of current lot of younger players whom you are referring have been introduced and nurtured during his tenure only. So please think twice on using any harsh word on someone who made me, you and all the Indians world over proud. Don't also forget after the great Kapid Dev it was at Ganguly's time India reached the final of World Cup.

There is a sports called cricket which is played among say 10-12 teams in the world. Mr. Saurav Ganguly was the captain of Indian team. We are here discussing about him only. Thank you. LOL

i think we shud give him a majestic farewell as he had been an integral part of indian cricket for the last one decade.it's unfair to sack him without giving the honorary respects that a player of his caliber expects !!!!!!!!

I never say never. Let's be positive if he displays positive attitude, grit , determination that made him india's most successful captain. he can end his career on a high note but if he doesn't then i am afraiod that things will not be rosy for him which is sad because he deserved to treated better.

I am sorry to it is the end of road for him.Our team has more talent than him now so it is very hard for him to replace the yonugsters in our team.He has to work hard to find a way in.But he was a great player scoring 10,000 in ODI matches and a great player to watch.Hope he returns to form.
