how can i help a saintly friend who deserves better than d cruelties of others?

i have this friend who is always so darn good.. almost a saint. she's so good to people but people always bully him. why is that? i told her to fight back but she simply tells me, "what do i get if i fight back?" it annoys me. i wanted to protect her, you know. she's my friend.. being good all the time isn't healthy right? what can i do to help her? she may not say it but i know she's really said..
