My mom has colon cancer

Yes, my mom developed colon cancer in her mid-50's. She's now in remission after undergoing colon surgery and 12 sessions of chemotherapy. I just want to post this question out there... have you ever had anyone close to you with cancer? It's really not easy being there for them... pretending to know how they feel, and yet always feeling inadequately inept in being totally there for them.

I'm sorry to hear that. But your love and support to your mom will really help her a lot in going through it.
I don't know personally anybody suffering from big 'c'. But I always heard stories of people with it. And it really breaks my heart.
