I have this problem with my 10-month-old baby boy-- he keeps waking up throughout the night. I have honestly never had a good night's sleep in the past 10 months. I've tried lullabies and keeping the aircon on the whole night just to see if he would sleep straight, but to no avail. Please recommend a way that might make him sleep soundly, so that I could, too. Thank you.

Have you tried not fusing with him during the night and letting him resolve his issue on his own? I know thats a hard thing to do but often its the best choice. as long as you know your son is dry, comfortable, not hungry there is nothing wrong with letting him work out his sleep. I found after doing this my children soon fell back to sleep on their own. Its probably now a habit. I agree with the poster above me that some sort of white noise is very useful. Also like she said a nice warm bath before bed time does a world of good. Good Luck with this. Many of us have been sleep deprived after starting families so many sympathies.

We made sure our son took only one small nap around 11 or 12 during the day. Then we made sure he stayed awake, got fed, give him a nice warm bath, and laid him down with this water noise from this fish scenery thing. You can buy it at Walmart for a little to nothing. He wouldn't sleep unless we cut it on. It has a night light and all.
