Digital Cameras - Advice wanted / myLot

I'm thinking of buying a new digital camera, to upgrade from my Kodak 5MP Easyshare C340. I haven't got the money to spend on a digital SLR, so a good quality cam with video is what I'm after. Any recommendations? What cameras do you people use and have you had a positive experience with it? Any suggestions/help is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Pete

I have a digital SLR. Couldent be happier with it. However I also have a small Casio, because sometimes the SLR is just to big to take to parties and what not.
