Im a mac man, i hate winsows, if you have some computer knowledge get linux. I recommend ubuntu (http://www.ubuntu.com) its not that different from windows but it runs faster and no viruses!

hey if you play lots of games just use 98, and if you are not a computer literate and a beginner use windos XP and if you have some knowledge and want to be with this real world of savvy people go for windows Vista. and if you are a genius go for LINUX fedora

well buddy . u can try out the new windows Vista which has been launched in the market recently . but i think it has quite high requirements . If your system does not support it , u can buy Windows XP edition . its really good . BEST OF LUCK
