When was the last time you told your parents that you love them? For me i can't remember. My father dies when i was young. My mom was the one who raise me up. But i can't remember when was the last time i told her that i love her or even say thanl you. I don't know why maybe because im not demonstrative or maybe im shy.

Its sad when you cant tell a person you love them when it is such a pure and honest feeling you just need to know that it is coming strate from the heart and you truly mean it then it should be easy just dont be hurt if they dont say it back they just might not know how to say it them selves dont mean they dont love you if you keep telling them they will eventualy get comfortable with hearing and then beable to say it back.

I lost both of my parents when I was very young but as a parent myself now with grown children we tell each other that we love each other everyday and every time we talk If something were to ever happen I would want that to be the last words I said to them and the last ones to hear from them.

It's really frustrating that people, like me, can't tell simple words to other, especially our love ones. I love you, Thank you & Sorry, are just few words that means a lot to us and to the person we are telling it too. Words that has a lot of emotions involved are too much to handle. I know I'm wrong for being not to "showy" & verbal of what I feel but as much as possible I try to expresss it in a different way. It's more "do-able" if I say that thru text or e-mail, but i can't do it personally. They are lots of sayings re: we should tell our love them everyday so we don't regret not telling it if that person is gone... I know it's true & i dread that day...but right now I can't I hope I can be brave enough to tell it next time... it might just be words but I myself, would appreciate hearing it especially if it is meant.

As far as i can remember it was the day when my girlfriend(my wife now) goes to our house in the province without me. My parents thought that she was pregnant or need something from me badly.. After few hours I arrived to our house in the province and with the surprise, I saw both my parents crying in front of me. Shocked of the incident, i can't say a single word.. then suddenly I uttered those words.. That was 4 years ago and 2 years after that incident, my wife really got pregnant.. ;)

I tell my mom that I love her everyday. If I don't see my mom, we always call eachother at least once a day and we always end our calls with a "I LOVE YOU!" As for my dad, I tell him I love him every time we talk on the phone or when he comes over. I don't see him as much as I do my mom, but when I do, we never forget to say "I LOVE YOU!" My family always ends all conversation with a "I love you!" My sisters and I are the same way. I also do the same with my kids. You never know when your time is up. Tomorrow could be the last time they see me or the last time I see them. So I feel you should always let it be known that you love that special person. You just never know when tomorrow will be gone.

You know it's weird that I've never been super comfortable saying I love you to my family members. I mean obviously I do love em and they're good people but in general I'm not a really super affectionate person.

I am not demonstrative and i don't say I love you to my parents . I just show my appreciation in many ways. Beside if ever i would tell I love it would be to only one person and that is my grandmother.

This is a nice one. You made me think for quite a while...hmmm...let's see. I think that would be this morning...I guess. And if ever I forget, they usually know how much I love them even if I don't usually tell them. It's like what they say: "Action speaks louder than words."(^_^)

How ironic that it's hard for us to say i love you to our parents but we love them so much... the last time is when we had our retreat 4 years ago... hope i can say it again to them... i love you ma and pa...

i did tell them through a text message and whenever i call them. when my uncle passed away, i realized that i should have told him that i love despite being demonstrative. there's really a lot to gain when you lose a loved one.
