why dogs and cate are the most common pets in the world????

I like this discussion. since anient times dogs and ats have lived alongside us. Both cat and dogs have been worshiped or revered at different times by different cultures. Cats are mostly independant and tend to fascinate us after all if they could but a paw operated tin opened more easily they probably wouldn't need us at all. They excite our need of adventure and freedom in some strange way. They can also be very loving and on ocasion protective, I have heard of cats attacking intruders. Dogs, well they are different, man made dogs, they took wild creatures gave them an inferiority complex a mile high and trained them for work. Once man realised how to make them look lovable the dog found her way into our homes and out hearts. Iwas brought up thinking that you needed pets to be a proper family.

because are the most loving and caring pets....how we can say that a Guinea Piggy or a Duck really love us...but a cat or a dog can understand you and you can see in their eyes the love and devotament for you

I guess becuase these animals have been domesticated over time and can live within the confines of a home. They also now depend on humans for their daily food and often have problems fending for themselves. However dogs are Man's best friends and there are a lot of benefits of owning a pet a few of which is unconditional love no matter what you do, companionship, etc etc

dogs and cats are reasonable in size and nature in adjustment to live with man... and thats why they are the most common pets in the world.

its a nice discussion.. because dogs are used for the home security and for some looks in the house... and in the cats, they are used for the problems of rats in the house... i think so...

this is because cats and dogs are much more comfortable with humans then any other animal.they like our company and as it says dogs are mans best frnds.
