Carbonhydrates are very essential food nutrient needed by the body. Carbonhydrate foods are very nourishing to humans and living organisms in general.Most people do not know this fact and most times people do not know how to prepare carbonhydrate foods to be able to get the right proportion of carbonhydrate needed by the body at particular time. We can get carbonhydrates from the following sources;cereal crops,tubers crops and from other sources.We can't do with out body energy at any time,so we need carbonhydrate foods.

Your title says 'energy building' and you didn't mention the substance that has the most energy content in it, fat! Fat contains almost twice as much energy (joules or calories) then carbohydrate. If a person is looking to 'bulk' up by gaining muscle or just gaining some bosy mass, then fat is the way to go!! (Lard tastes REALLY nice in homemade cookies!!! :-))
