In my opinion, it is important to eat a little something soon after waking up. It is not good for the system to survive on no nourishment. I used to do a full day's work with no nourishment in me; my colleagues tried to warn me; eventually, I was subject to panic attacks. Now, I very rarely skip breakfast.
