What are the best guitar effects?

What are the best effects for guitar? I think that the Boss effects are the best in the world. And for you?

If I were to say, BOSS, DIGITECH, JIM DUNLOP WAH's, DOD. And to further narrow it down. Digitechs Whammy Pedal (Best Pedal ever invented) as well as The BOSS Digital Delay Line up. For those who haven't heard Rage Against The Machine Try to Listen to Their songs. All of the above pedals mentioned are being used by Tom Morello.

No no, Boss stomp boxes are almost the worst! Boss distortion pedals are trebly, fuzzy and cold. There are a lot of better pedals...think about the Marshall ones (Jackhammer, Guv'Nor) or Carl Martin... If you desire a Boss, then buy a Behringer and you save a lot of money!

yes i think BOSS effects are cool but DIGI-TEC is also one of the best ones...and i have also tried V-AMP 2 its cool too

I've been using Boss products & Roland for a good 29 years now & love them. But I bought a Line6 Pod a couple of years back & I have to say, it's pretty amazing. They even simulate a few classic Boss pedals.
