Can somebody explain how a book...lets say a Harry Potter book, gets translated into an Asian language. I mean, the oriental languages are so far removed from our own roman derived languages that it seems impossible that anything should be able to be translated coherently. On top of that, different cultures have different, often outrageously different views on everything. They SEE things differently. Different ways of thought, different...everything. How do they do it?
