they lead a hard life and sacrifice a lot for their country. its inspiring and my heart goes out to their loved ones who have to stay away from them i salute not only the soldiers but also their loved ones for the spirit which they possess.

Thank you for that, so many people don't realize that it means a lot to the Army wives to hear that kind of support. My daughter has been married to the Army for 3 years, her husband has been in Iraq twice since they were married, and twice before that. And it is a real possiblity that he will be deployed again to Afganistan. It's never easy when he leaves, but she takes care of their home and spends time with family while he is gone, staying busy helps her cope.

I just wanted to say thank you for taking the time to think about our men and woman that are away from there familys. I am a army wife my husband was in iraq until this past July and is leaving again for iraq in a few months. Its hard but the support of friends, family and sometimes people that you dont even know makes it easier just people you know that there is always some support out there for us.

likewise here..have same sympathy as yours on the military.. and consider them as heroes..the best we could do is to pray for global peace so that no more lives will be wasted due to unresolved issues and principles..

Yes, it is difficult when you are 'married to the military' and your partner is thousands of miles away, in unsafe situations and you only hear from them once or twice a week but the majority of military personnel I know and have grown up with, really love their job and have quality family time when they are on leave, the social clubs, events, etc for the families are excellent however, military families are taken good care of.

I think that it is hard having our husbands leave. My husband leaves for even school and I cry my eyes out. It is very hard having to be away from him when the Army is telling him that he has to be away from us. I can't stand what is going on right now in the world today.
