            why are fathers so hard on their sons?
while this not the case of sons with mother.
they are more close to the mother .

                    because a father knew what his child can do with his friends because he also attaint that aged same situations
while his mother hadnt passes through these stages

Its not like that.
All fathers are not strict.
I can give you mine example.
My faqther is just like a very good friend of mine.
And i love him very much.

                    It depends on who is raising those boys. For example, if a mother is taking care of them at home from birth, she might be teaching them discipline by saying: "Don't do this". "Don't put your hand in the mouth after you touch that". When daddy comes home, it's mostly time to play! I think every case is individual. Maybe the father had a hard life.
