You are ready to have a child?

I always wanted to have at least one kid by the time I was 25, but that's only 6 years away and I am no where near ready. I'd like to be married first and be financially secure (living on my own, good paying job etc). So I've changed my plan to 30 years old. Like one other person sais; when you're ready, you're ready.

I think I'll be ready to have kids when I'm about 26 or 27. I think by then, my fiance and I will be settled enough, and have some stability in our lives that we can bring a child into this world. I'm waiting until I'm ready, emotionally, and fiancially, to have kids. And I can't wait!

I'm 27 and said I wanted 2 kids by the time I turn 30. Boy that thought has changed. Now I'm saying maybe I will have my kids by the time I'm 35. Who knows. It would be nice to have a house first instead of still be renting, but by that time with my credit I will be 40! So kids will come when they come.

I'm not sure I'll ever be ready. I can never imagine myself with kids. I think I'm just to selfish to have children. I don't want to have to support someone else and look after someone else and spend money on someone else when I could be doing all that for me :P I know it sounds mean and selfish but then again it's a good thing I'm choosing not to have children.

yes, i'm ready but the main thing is i don't have even a single girlfriend.

I think that within the next three to four years, I'll be ready to have a child. I'm currently 21 years old. I'm going to be getting married next year. What I'm really waiting for is to have enough money to support a child. I am fairly certain that I could care for a child now, but money is the main issue; and I'll be finishing up school in a few months. But I'm sure I'll know when the time is right.

i am 28 years old and i can say that i am still not prepared to have a child. i will still have to go to sweden within this year to be with my boyfriend. i need to study first for a year about their language and culture. and then, find a stable job. after a year of working,my boyfriend and i plan to have a baby. maybe i am already 31 by that time. but i don't care for as long as i am already prepared to have my own baby.

I'm not ready now.. because I haven't finished the college .. and I don't have a job.. for a child you need money .. to give him all you want.. and all you have.. but if you have nothing.. what you will give him?
