What is this Black Jesus debate about? I don't get it. I thought Jesus was always white. They call it "Jesus of Nazareth". They say there was White Jesus in West, and Black Jesus in Africa. What do you guys think? Also see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Jesus

It shouldn't matter to any of us what color Jesus is because in his eyes we are all one. But to answer your question jesus is jew it is in the bible. And God has no color becaus he is described in the bible as being like a bright light.

Well, about the only response that I could share would be that of a quote from the scriptures themselves. That being ...Mark 16:12 "After that he appeared in another form unto two of them, as they walked ..." After that I might suggest that throughout the readings he has been descibed as a spirit ...see, Luke 24:39 "...for a spirit hath not flesh and bones ..." While these two may seem confusing to the non-readers of scripture, I say keep reading ...perhaps one day you too will be blessed in that by faith he will rise again only to truly appear in another form unto you.

Well it's fairly unlikely Jesus looked like the conventional way he is portrayed in western art - fair hair, blue eyes and white skin. That's quite an unusual combination for someone born in the middle east. He certainly would not have been "white".
