I've got a comment about baby food, formula most particularly. When my sister and brothers were babies,my mother used to feed them "carnation milk in the can".Now we are expected to feed our babies formula or breast milk for at least a full year!Personally i think its all a scam.Dont get me wrong,it probably is healthier, but the price is ridiculous.Mabey doctors and formula companies have some sort of deal together, like they get a cut or something...just a thought!

Have you heard about WIC(Woman's Infant Children)? If you qualify take advantage of it coz they give about 3 cans of formula a month. Baby food, I make my own. I bought one of those mini food grinder intended for making baby food.

Baby milks fine here. The price is fair imo, it's easy to make and it doesn't take long. my sons now on whole milk, so we don't really give the formula milk often now but the thing i have againt baby food is the little jars which say they taste nice but hardly any baby likes them. My son only likes certain ones mainly fruit based products so we make him what we eat and mash it down just like my parents did for me and my brother. Kudos! ~Joey

Just feed your baby the nutrients she needed...and you can afford.

Just as with any nutritional suupliment that is on the market today, baby formula has gone through the same stages. Years ago, there were only vitamins, and now there are so many different suppliments, that have been formulated for different types of lifestyles. Formula has gone though the same changes, with the necessary supppliments for the development of the baby. It can be confusing as to which one to get, but that is what the doctor is for, helping you choose the right type for your child. Unfortunately, there are only several companies that make the formula, and that they have a slight monopoly on this, and can charge the prices that they do. But in the long run, it's better for the child than regular carnation milk in the can.
