Do you think you treat / treated your boys and girls differently?

I have a son and I always wonder if I would treat a girl baby the same way. We expect a lot (not too much of course) from him and encourage him to be tough and not give up. I wonder if people who have sons and daughters treat them differently because of the different sexes.

I am neglecting my friends for the past few months as I`m busy all time at work...But I always find time to talk to girls but i forget guys...They are really pissed off wid me but i think i`ll cope up and do things which keeps all people around me happy. I am good wid everyone but better wid girls best with close friends

How does this answer the question about treating sons and daughters alike?

I only have girls. I would like to think I would not treat a son any differently though. My mom was a lot easier on my brother than she was on me. It did not make sense since he caused a ton more trouble even to this day than I ever did.

I really dont think I did treat my girls different than I would have a boy I do think they had outside influences that caused them to react differently to the things I tried to get them interested in. Mainly Hunting. I did all the outdoor stuff they would let me do with them and I encouraged all the things they wanted to do so I think I was equal in treatment. I do think society limits the ability to treat them equally though.
