I moved here with my husband for a year. He is a engineer. We moved due to his job. I use to work at a hospital as a cat scan tech. Unfortunately I do not speak french. I work hard and willing to learn. We live in montparnasse.

There are no "can not" ...
There are instead "I do not want." At least that `my head entered me in a while. We managed to have something succesuri "lately successes would not have succeeded without a little 'work. Or at least be successful for me, for others it can trifles.
With all the work in the evening when I get home I start my projects and in this way pass midnight until I put back to sleep. And one more step big or small, to what I `ve suggested. One thing that I can say is it and why I do not think it once more revive the blog that was numb, but in fact I `ve realized that I did not want, I can be lazy. And here I have a month when I write every day. And not just write here, write and Twitter, writing on other blogs ... I thought I could, and here I can still ...
How about the other projects evolve every day, goes increasingly better, though brilliant ideas appear out of nowhere. And his personal life - social work increasingly better. I hear how everyone is complaining he did not know what to do, not knowing how to do, not do something, lament and sorrow, give ideas, but no one is trying ... can not off, these people that I despair ...
I've set my goals, I know I can, I know that one could, I know that I will lead the way, I know I will succeed only through hard work ... And I will succeed because they can ...
And you can!, I'm sure of it! Good luck!

i think the good news is that you get to choose which language is easier
to learn, and still get along where you are at/
i.e, French, Italian, Spanish, German

I envy your opportunity to live and learn in France. Many many years ago I took French in high school. I never really got a chance to use it. You will have that opportunity. Certainly, you will be able to easily find Frence speakers.
Perhaps, you could run a cat scan for a supervisor who spoke english?
If I was in France today, I'd have to rely quite a bit on these 2 phrases:
1) Je ne parle pas Fransais ( I do not speak French)
2) Je ne sais pas ( I do not know )
That's it for my French. Good luck to you and I'm sure you'll make the best of this great opportunity.
