There was a king named mahabali in kerala. he was the well known king. he ruled his country very efficiently and very honestly. he give anything that he can give to one which that ask to him. gods get jelows about that and try to kill him. but that was not easy. so they make another plan. god Vishnu come to earth as a small child and ask three feet land for him. mahabali agreed and allow him to measure and take three feet land. he talk all this world with his two feet and ask for land as the third feet. mahabali showed his head and allow him to put his leg on his head. the vishnu kicked him the hell. so i wonder how was that king which was ready to give anything that he have even his life. malayalies celebereate his memories as the ONAM festival
