I use to manage depression, listening musiq, playing violen and i like chocolates, and i feel i get refreshed after having my chocolates. And best remedy is Meditation, try breathing exercise, it will help you balance and handle depression.

There is a recognised medical condition called Seasonal Affective Disorder (S.A.D.) which is depression brought on by the short dark days of winter.

I wouldn't want to get depressed when it rains all day, because here in Ireland, I think the sun has shone about twice in the last two weeks. To-day we have had gale force winds and the rain is bucketing down on top of us. My garden is flooded and all my plants a garden ornaments have been ruined. However, my house is nice and warm and cosy and I am very happy that the roof hasn't blown off. Having said all that, I suppose I could be a little happier if the sun was shining.
