I think the one thing that always helps is walking and leg lunges. I tried everything and had to go get my membranes sweept and it was was mostly set me off into labor.

I found that time itself was the best answer. I know that walking helps. I used to go to the mall and walk and that brought one delivery on. I understand how at the end of the pregnancy you can get really tired of being pregnant. Good luck and have a healthy, happy baby!

spicy food, may a ride in the car over a bumpy road? These are things that my friends have tried.

I thinks its best when it starts off normally. If you overshoot your dates then labour may get induced by some medics - the choice is your docs. Not sure how safe it is to try out other methods!

I would say that you should stay active and try to sit up as long and as straight as possible. With my baby i got my labor started by going to Bingo believe it or not!!! Sitting up straight rather than relaxing can really help out alot!
