My husband loves Indian food, and I also love their basmati or saffron rice. It smells so good. You can buy those ready to make packets at the store, but I want to try to cook it the classic way, in a pot. Any suggestion how to do it?

Most non Asians can't measure water with their finger. We need a measuring cup.
