I had lots of answers to one of my discussions on a day when I didn´t log in. No earnings show up for that day. The discussion hasn´t been deleted and there were no onliners as answers. Please let me know.

yes, of course. The MyLot owners are not just too stupid to allow each spammer to post 3 words and to run away and then to earn a pot of gold here. If that would be true then I would leave right now.

yes length does matter here since u hv to be discriptive as u always see the line near this block that be descriptive, so they want us to be more discriptive and they want us to read other's posts so tht the good quality discussions are made here. i admire this forum. now am getting interested in posting more and more replies with quality contents. which will help me increase my rating too.

I think it depends on each post you make. When I had 7 posts, I had 10 cents. When I had 12 posts, I got 20 cents. So I think it just varies. Maybe the length of each post contributes to the amount of money you'll receive.

That makes sense. If people post longer answers it means they are interested in your discussion topic, therefore you get paid more. But that´s just me guessing again.

yes wht i too think it varies and is decided on the length i suppose!! the bigger the length the bigger the payout.

I have learned here, you only Earn $$ usually if you post an Answer to others discussions on the same time that you are posting New discussions. I feel that is Fair because if you are wanting to Earn $$ on here you need to post on here as well.

Yes and I do post into other peoples discussions but I also start my own. I sometimes make the comments to my discussions on the next day, always rate the answers I get, can´t see why we don´t get paid for that. So all the users who start discussions are good samaritans? Voluntary workers? I don´t want this to sound cinical, just don´t get it.

i m also not able to understand the format of their payouts, but i think we should make our discussions large so tht we get paid more but donno about hw many cents actually. some say they pay 2 cents per post but even i post 30 posts i could make only 23 or something. so no idea atall of the payouts.

Hi dana, you only earn from your discussion based on the quality of the post you made and not on the number of responses received from such post. If you posted a topic, no point will be added to your current points yet thereby no earning will be added to your account. A point will only be awarded to you if someone responds to that topic. You only earn one point and no more, even if you answer back to the comments made.

Thanks for your helpful answer. But what do points consist of and how do they influence the earnings?

I usually make about 2 discussions (sometimes not a one) and answer to a few other discussions as well and I always try to be as descriptive as I can - just what mylot always wants us to do. When I make a short respond to some discussion than I don't usually get paid anything. But if I write several lines than I get about 0.01 for each post that I make. It's not much at all. But I heard somewhere that if you keep on posting good quality posts than your earnings can improve. I'm not sure about that but if anybody knows if it's true or not then tell me about it more. Thanks

Your answer is certainly descriptive. I heard the same thing: the more quality discussion you post and also the more descriptive responses you give, the higher your earnings will be.

there is no earnings for the response you get for your discussion.if you make response or comment to discussions then only you will earn money.that too if you make in your own discussion then no rating for that.the earnings for your response and comments vary depending on the quality of post.

Well, that sounds rather descouraging. I had no idea that we don´t get paid for the answers. How do you know, if you don´t mind telling me?

It's different each day and depend on how people will rate your response. just enjoy it and see your earnings grows.

I am not really sure how they pay on here. SOmetimes I think I have it down pat and then it totally confuses me. I tried just posting discussions and I didnt get anything for pay at all. I am not sure why. ANd then I just posted replies and i got some pay. But it seems inconsistant from day to day. I dont post images that often, so I am not sure if that helps or not. I tried to do images yesterday, but it kept deleting everything.

Welcome to the club. That´s exactly how I feel. Why are they so secretive about our earnings. It just leads to confusion.

You might answer to all the posters that have read and bothered to contribute to your discussion with their answers. That means that you were interested about the topic not just that you launched a discussion and abandoned it on the middle of the road. I think you understand what I mean. I also posted few new discussions and all the day the others kept answering to that discussion and I also kept answering to them and making them very warm to answer me back. The next day my income increased from 7.59 to 9.36 which is a nice earning, I think. And I neither posted any image, nor spent many hours online or similar. Sadly, I just neither had the time to answer to all of them ...

Thanks. Didn´t abandon it in the middle of the road. I started it and had to desconnect shortly after because I had to do s.th. which wasn´t planned. Commented and rated answers the next day. I can´t be a slave of myLot.

You don't get paid if someone reply your discussion. And for each post the earning varies from 2 cent to 5 cent. The earning completely depends on several factors, few of them is quality of post relevency of the post. Suppose for me the earning per post is 2.75 cent.

Don´t understand. So why are there so many people who post silly discussions to get a maximum of answers, if they don´t get paid? I know the dumb discussion are deleted, but some users don´t seem to be aware of that. Why is everyone so happy when they got say 340 answers to their discussion, if they´re not earning from it?
