i love south delhi places like south ex, lajpat nagar, karol bagh and saket. all these places are a lot of fun to hang out with friends,theres loads of shopping that can be done here and its got a lot of eatout places.and its the most posh amongst all parts of delhi

While I was in Delhi I was hanging out at PVR Saket most of the time as it was nearer to my place. And weekly once I was going to CP.

Have not bee to Delhi for 3 yrs. I expect lots of improvement there. Hope in 2 mnths time I will make a trip.

I have a special liking for Connaught Place in New Delhi .
It is a very lively place:

Connaught Place (officially Rajeev Chowk) is one of the largest commercial areas in Delhi, India. Located in the heart of New Delhi, it is often abbreviated as CP and houses the headquarters of several Indian firms.
Urban structure
Robert Tor Russell, chief architect to the Government of India designed Connaught Place in 1932 based upon an outline by W.H. Nichollas (the committee's architect from 1913-1917). The area is instantly recognizable on any map of Delhi, being the big circle in the middle with radial roads spreading out in all directions, like spokes on a wheel. Eight separate roads lead out from Connaught's inner circle, named Parliament Street and Radial Roads 1 through 7. Twelve different roads lead out from Connaught Circus, the outer ring; the most well-known of these is Janpath, the continuation of Radial Road 1.
Connaught Place's obvious Victorian architecture is modeled after the Royal Crescent in Bath, England.
Connaught Place is closed on Sundays.

What do you like about Connaught Place?
BTW... the correct name these days is Rajeev Chowk.
For me amond the popular places it will have to be India Gate and among the not so popular spots the Delhi War Cemetery - that area is not known and can be very peaceful and quiet.

I like Connaught Place ok, but i love going to noida sector 18. I like spending time with friends in the malls there, GIP and CSM. And the market is gr8 for shopping. :)
