A known devil or an unknown God. Whom would u trust

All of us must have met innumerable people and must have developed relations with them overtime. Some might have become our closest friends and some not so much. We also must have found out their faults , weaknesses and also the darker side of their character. Some might be dangerous to deal with sometimes and are good the rest of the times.
There are many people who are developing relationships over the internet and want to meet them and also repose trust in them. Knowing that we dont know much about these strangers so much we star trusting them. Also we dont know the darker sides of their persona which may be dangerous.
Dont you think it is better to believe in a person about whom we know completely about..both the positive and the negative side rather than the person who shows us the positive side. So dont u think a known devil is better than an unknown god? What do you think?

A known devil or an unknown God, hmm...
I would think that if there is a devil, then there will be a God - otherwise the world as we know it would long be cast into darkness. So if you know of a real devil, then all the more you should believe in God.

I will first focus on human.When we have known a person,experienced his warmth,love,care and know that he is a compassionate soul and have also witnessed his darker,secretive hidden side ,then It's simpler to decide whether we still like that person or not.While,when it comes to a person whose goodness we have felt and know none of his vices then we don't have a complete set to solve the conundrum.In such a case I'd think it's wiser to prefer the former as you already know the worse that could face you and have decided you can live with that coz the goodness is far more powerful than his vices.
However,if we are talking of a devil and a God without being figurative then I'd select the God even if he is unknown to us coz so is the devil though we can feel the existence of both within ourselves and the devil,known or unknown doesn't make us a better person when around while God is best part of us.I'd choose the unknown God over the devil,even if he was known,in this case.
