I think it is popular because it has feature that other communities donot have like creating communities and writing in the scrapbook and rating your friends and add them to your crush list and many more and orkut is such a cool place to hang out with our friends of our same interest online.

well lets count them out... it is easy to use... it has no restrictions what so ever in what u do and how u do. you can add anything anyone anytime...gazzag has just now started that thing..u needed email id of the user u wanted to add to your id....what ever we may say it is not safe to use, privacy etc etc...the much the flexibility the better the site... it is probably the first site to raise the idea of online social networking most of its users are highly satisfied with orkut.

I guess orkut works because we meet are old long last friends, that does make a difference than meetin total strangers. Thats Why it works

i really dont know,but i think its the realism that maybe attracts us.

In orkut you can read others scrap...so i guess you try to peek in others life without showing who u are...........And also find some new friends.

orkut has so many different prospects,things can be done and variety of stuff more than anyother site
