Do you think that people in Canada should be executed?

Hello people, Im just wondering what you think about this. In Canada, if you go to prison for killing or something else worst, you will not face such a big charge. You get to spend alot of time in prison that's about it. YOu do not get executed or anything of the sort. Do you think that They should be executed? Do you think that they should spend more time in jail for their crimes?(This depends on what crime so if you answer to this please specify what type of crime you are talking about) I think that they should be executed or at least spend MORE TIME in jail if they have killed or raped. This is because people will not feel safe once these people are out and not only that but will continue once out if they've only been in there for 1 year, they haven't learnt their lesson JUST YET.
