I am so lame, I made macaroni and cheese. I even used the Shrek type noodles and my 5 year old refused to eat it. He said he didn't want any "scooby doo" noodles. It was funny!

I wimped out on dinner tonight. I made Hamburger Helper Lasagna with sausage instead of hamburger and served it with garlic bread. Tomorrow is pizza day...also known as "My Night Out Of The Kitchen"

I do that with Dirty Rice and use sausage sometimes. I don't think you whimped out - it was "semi-homemade". :)

Macaroni and Cheese is not lame! I love Macaroni and Cheese! I really don't like the character ones though. I had a leftover Turkey Burger from last night. I heated it up, slapped on some cheese, added ketchup, mustard, pickles, and a tomatoe!!! I also had some Doritos with it, but that was it!! :D

We are having left over roast beef for dinner. I took a slice, put it on bread, and melted a piece of American cheese on it. I also had brussel sprouts and some yogurt.

it's not dinner time yet. But, on tonights menu is grilled bratwurst, french fries and carrots. For the weekends, we usually throw something in the crockpot.

That's cute how your son had refused to eat the macaroni & cheese. Even though you had used the scooby doo noodles! That would be to cute to witness I am sure. Especially for a parent! . . My other half ended up making us tuna melts this evening for supper. They we're rather tasty indeed! And they we're so very easy to make, & convenient when you had a lot to do during the day. I included the recipe just in-case someone was interested in making it someday. They are very simple to make & rather tasty in our opinion! . . "Tuna Melts." Ingredients are: - 2 cans of tuna, drained - 1/4 cup of mayo (OR as much as desired) - Ranch (optional) 3 teaspoons - 2 - 4 slices of cheese - salt & pepper to taste - buns or white or whole wheat bread Directions are: - In a medium bowl, combine the tuna, mayo & ranch & salt & pepper. And mix all together until well blended. You can add more mayo if you'd like it or if you find it to be to dry. I know we like ours rather moist but it all depends upon the person's preference. Then put the mixture on each slice of toast or bun. And then lay the slices of cheese over top of the mixture. - You can either microwave it or cook it in the oven. I know we use the microwave for ours. But if you prefer to cook it in the oven you must preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Then you must bake it for 10 minutes, or until the cheese begins to melt or begins to bubble. If anyone decides to try to make this I hope they enjoy it as much as we do! . .

Funny how they will choose one over the other when they are the exact same thing. My oldest wanted some spagettios but didn't want the ones with the alphabet shapes. I didn't cook tonight. Went to a birthday party and had pizza. Yum. My favorite.
