Ugly Betty

i never got into this show either. it just did not catch my attention from the previews so i just decided not watch it at all.

I'm a fan and I got hook to it from the very beginning. Which part is confusing to you?

I enjoy it and tape it weekly, but I really can't get completely in to if you know what I mean? Its an okay show and has its moments, but its nothing that I get upset over if I miss or what have you.

I LOVE Ugly Betty. It really is about how the high society looks down at the middle income or lower income yet the high society has so many hang ups, so many secrets and they are so high maintenance in their lifestyles, while the lower income or middle income are just happy with what they have and seem to teach the higher society some lessons. I think that Betty is a heroine that we have not seen in any show in a long time, if ever.

I tried watching a couple times since it's on before Grey's Anatomy, but I can't even make it through an entire episode!

The original story is Betty la vea. Ugly girl who get discriminated because of what she look like, but she's genius and taking over the company to save it from bankrupt, and marrying the guy she loved.

Ugly Betty is due to start over here in the Uk this week so I havent seen it as yet. I watched like the very beginning of the very first episode and just did not get the feeling that I liked it. I really should give it another chance. I just don't know if I'll think to. I also didn't think that I would like "The Class' when I tried to watch the opening episode this season, then ended up seeing a bit of it later and really loved it, so now I'm watching that one every week. The reason that happened is that itw as already between two other sitcoms that I watch. I sweaer I am hearing people rave about Ugly Betty but I just don't get it. Maybe I'll have to take another look.

Well, the shows written kind of differently, I for one like the show. It's a required taste... pretty much how rich people view nerdy poor people...
